Luus obtained her law degree with distinction from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven, 1986). After her studies, she worked as a trainee at the British law firms Waltons & Morse (London City) and Shakespeare Duggan Lee (Birmingham).
In 1987, Luus joined the Dutch Bar Association in Brussels and began her career with the law firm Rycken, Burlion, Bolle & Houben, before taking part in the firm's various developments over the next thirty years (including MBP and Everest).
Initially assigned to the 'contracts department', Luus subsequently specialised in corporate law, commercial law, property law and, more recently, employment law.
Outside the office, Luus has a green thumb, cooks for her friends and practises yoga. She also loves opera, and regularly attends performances at La Monnaie in Brussels.
For some twenty years now, Luus has focused particularly on foreign clients and has taken an interest in international cooperation with a view to providing them with comprehensive legal services. Over the years, it has established direct relationships with its clients and does not limit its advice to the strictly legal aspects of the issues submitted to it, but incorporates issues specific to the company and the business world.

Luus is a founding partner of the law firm "redsky legal", which was established on 1 July 2018 and became "ebl redsky", the Belgian hub of "ebl law firm", on 1 January 2020.
