Pierre-Louis graduated in law with distinction from the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 2000. In 2001, he took a postgraduate course in sports law at King's College London University and obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Sports Law.

Pierre-Louis has been a member of the Brussels Bar since 2001, and began his career with the law firm Van Lint & Associés in 2001. In 2006, he joined "Vergauwe, Docq & Associés" as an associate and then as a partner, before joining "ebl redsky" on 1 January 2020.

For almost twenty years, Pierre-Louis has been able to practise and develop his skills in real estate law in the broadest sense (sales, leases, rights in rem, public contracts, expropriations, etc.), and in particular in construction law (business, architecture, property development, site incidents, professional liability, etc.). He acts at all stages of a dispute (amicable negotiations and legal proceedings), whether for property investors or developers, professionals in the sector (architects, general contractors, specialists, engineers, etc.) or private individuals concerned about protecting and preserving their property assets.

From a very young age, Pierre-Louis has had a real passion for tennis, which he plays with great frequency. He also loves snow-capped peaks and wide open spaces. The slightest snowflake lights up his eyes. Finally, he likes to share his passion for music, cinema and good wine with those close to him.

In addition to his legal skills, Pierre-Louis has solid technical knowledge, which gives him a pragmatic approach to the problems encountered by his clients, particularly in the context of technical appraisals (out-of-court or in court). He focuses above all on the effectiveness of the solutions proposed and the interests of his clients.

As well as practising law as a lawyer, Pierre-Louis was a lecturer at the Institut Supérieur Saint-Luc de Liège for the FERSPA, where he taught public procurement law and the protection of property assets. He was also a lecturer for the Formations PME in architectural law for the award of Certificats d'aptitude à la profession d'architecte (CAPA). Lastly, he was a lecturer at CiFop on architects' contracts, health and safety coordination and public procurement law.
